hah! thanks for the kind words. in point of fack, scott (as a person) isnt teriribly important, at this point.... his effect on kim is. as for the Sane thing... im rather torn on it too... originally it was meant to be kim's counterpoint... sympathetic when kim was a bitch, cold when kim was soft... but it's evolving into something else.... and it never was a split personality

It is, indeed, a bit "chick lit"....
one of my personal pet peeves is stuff like "chick lit"

I hate those sorts of pseudo generes, and I hate that its all but impossible to make a strong, modern, female character who lives like a normal person, without it instantly becoming "chick lit"


So, I break the mold. I flip the bird to such parameters and write the character as real as possible, in a story that I (hope) is compelling.
