Possible, though it's posted from NY, the home of the Illuminati. Would be interesting if it were related.

Stamp of a polar bear?

His other pics include another letter like that with a picture of Hawaii on the front (Welcome to Paradise) and two photos of his thumb, cut.

Nothing apparently. It's 00.43 in Oslo, and nothing of particular interest has appeared. At least I haven't seen anything. Looks like a false alarm.

There's lots of other ARGs and viral marketing campaigns going on all the time, not to long ago I got given a business card on the tube, with just an IP address on it, not go round to seeing what it's about yet 'tho, it'd be cool if it was to do with TSW, but not everything's going to be

Indeed just the name William doesn't seem to fit.

It does look interesting, and it might be tsw related. I guess we'll have to see if there are more, and if so, how they fit together...

This is the stamp, it doesn't mean it's not from New York just because it's a polar bear, but it may be connected somehow:

http://www.ecrater.com/product.php?pid=5015318

Are we assuming this is really connected to TSW ARG?

We've taken the case to the Yummy new static page,

http://www.darkdemonscrygaia.com/sho...=4115&page=105

If nobody brings what we think we've found over to this thread by the time I get home tonight, I'll try to post our suspicions so far in this thread to cut down on digging time for others.

As previously stated I'm posting what we've found that might indicate the postcard is TSW related.

Ocura pointed out that the SoS message read as/was positioned thus:

Quote:
A new beginning will
start with the one we seek
Seeing that, I remembered this thread and proposed that the message might actually read more like

Quote:
A new beginning, Will.
Start with the one we seek!
My rant to follow went something like...

The postcard says "You were just the beginning. He's already started phase 2. Things are going to get much worse. - William."

Hmmmm... well, the postcard did arrive around the time of the Milestone (phase 2?). And William says that this guy was "Just the beginning". The postcard is from New York (Illuminati), and then there's the polar bear stamp (yea, stretching it... but eh might as well mention it).

"A new beginning, Will. Start with the one we seek." suddenly looks a little more feasible.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Giovanna then brought this to the table, courtesy of wikipedia:

Quote:
The Robert F. Kennedy Bridge, formerly named Triborough Bridge, is a complex of three bridges connecting the New York City boroughs of the Bronx, Manhattan, and Queens on Long Island, using what were two islands, Ward's Island and Randall's Island as intermediate rights-of-way between the water crossings. These two islands have been consolidated by landfill.

Often historically referred to as simply the Triboro, the spans were officially named the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge in 2008. The bridges span the Hell Gate (a tidal channel of the East River), Harlem River, and Bronx Kill.
and this...

Quote:
Hell Gate is a narrow tidal strait in the East River in New York City in the United States. It separates Astoria, Queens from Randall's Island / Ward's Island (formerly two separate islands that are now joined by landfill).[1]

It was spanned in 1917 by the New York Connecting Railroad Bridge (now called the Hell Gate Bridge), which connects the Bronx and Queens. The bridge provides a direct rail link between New England and New York City. In 1936 it was spanned by the Triborough Bridge (now called the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge), allowing vehicular traffic to pass between Manhattan, the Bronx, and Queens.

The name "Hell Gate" is a corruption of the Dutch phrase Hellegat, which could mean either "hell's gate" or "bright gate/passage", which was originally applied to the entirety of the East River. The strait was described in the journals of Dutch explorer Adriaen Block, who is the first European known to have navigated the strait, during his 1614 voyage aboard the Onrust. Hellegat is a fairly common toponym for waterways in the low countries, with at least 20 independent examples [2]. Block might have named the strait with both meanings in mind, sliding a pun into place to evade the censorship of his strict Lutheran paymasters. Because explorers found navigation hazardous in this New World place of rocks and converging tide-driven currents (from the Long Island Sound, Harlem River strait, Upper Bay of New York Harbor and lesser channels, some of which have been filled), the Anglicization stuck.

By the late 19th century, hundreds of ships including HMS Hussar (1763) had sunk in the strait. In 1851 the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers began to clear obstacles from the strait with explosives; the process would last seventy years.[3]
and this from the New york times

Quote:
For decades, stamps on letters mailed in New York City have generally been canceled with squiggly lines of ink and the name of the sender’s home borough. But this tradition may itself soon be canceled, at least in Brooklyn and Queens and on Staten Island.

Under the Postal Service’s plan, most mail from the three boroughs would be sent to a central processing center in East New York, Brooklyn, where it would be branded with a new emblem:

“TRIBORO, NY

BKLYN-QNS-STATEN ISL.”
Which inspired me to look up the etymology of Triborough

Quote:
A borough is an administrative division of various countries. In principle, the term borough designates a self-governing township although, in practice, official use of the term varies widely.

The word 'borough' derives from a common Indo-European language cognate, meaning fort: compare borough, bury (England), burgh (Scotland), burg (Germany), bourg (France), burgo (Spain), borg (Scandinavia), borgo (Italy), burcht (Dutch). The incidence of these words as suffixes to place names (e.g. Canterbury, Strasbourg, Luxembourg, Edinburgh, Hamburg, Gothenburg), usually indicates that they were once fortified settlements.
Tri-borough? Triple fort or Fort of three?

Then Donatello Di Santi proposed:

Quote:
The slashes and dots at the bottom seem to be some sort of morse code? If it is, here's what I could get:

-..-.--.-..--..-..-.---.-.-..-.-...--..-.---..--......---...-

Can anyone translate?

ps. If it's something that shows in every post card then sorry, I'm not familiar to post cards, specially American ones.
There might actually be something there, even if it's not morse (which would be a nitemare since there don't appear to be any discernable spaces).

There's a little more in the last few pages (105+) of the yummy new static thread but I'll leave it to you to go read them for now, as I am crawling into bed. Assuming what's in there doesn't get transfered here before I wake up, I'll continue transfering it over at some point tommorow.

I started a little translating of the potential morse code. No choice than do it manually, so it's a little bit exhausting.

I only focused on "sentences" that wich made sence, but it's still a hard work.

Here is my work for now:

The green part is just to point that EN is morse coded as R.

As you can see I focused a little on the "Dyen add..." because of that very little article from wikipedia:
Quote:
Isidore Dyen
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Jump to: navigation, search

Isidore Dyen (Philadelphia, August 16, 1913 - December 14, 2008) was an American linguist, Professor Emeritus of Malayo-Polynesian and Comparative Linguistics at Yale University. He was one of the foremost scholars in the field of Austronesian linguistics[1].
That may be pointless, of course, but with the three dancers front of the card I'm kind of suspicious.

Yep, I was aware but, who knows...

Edit: well, could probably be juste that, even if there's a glitch in the code, difficult to say since with the red stains and the photo quality it's a little bit altered.

So in this case the ZIP code is 29420, the ZIP+4 is 8789, the delivery point is 01 and the check digit is 0.

The glitch is on the 9 from the ZIP+4.

So it point North Charleston, where Mike Kaczmarski lives...

Seems it was really not a clue.
