Okay folks, we have numerous hypothesis and theoretical threads, full of hyperbole and elaboration.

Time for us to try and gather our facts in one place, I believe.
Please try to keep discussions and theories out of this thread and stick to posting proven facts regarding Cry Gaia/Dark Days Are Coming.

So help me with this, I'm bound to be missing a lot.

1: Amundsden found it under the ice.

Roald Amundsen, Norwegian explorer 1872 - 1928

2: The Illuminati are clearly mentioned.

However, whoever wrote “The Letter”, or at least the note in the top left corner, clearly was as in the dark as to the involvement of the Illuminati as we are.

3: The seal of the Knights Templar is prominently featured in “The Letter”.

This gives us no concrete leads, only more theories. Will the Templar be fighting whatever fate befalls the Earth/Gaia?

4. We have coordinates.

In this thread: http://www.darkdemonscrygaia.com/fallenearth/showthread.php?t=42 the symbols that can be seen on the website, after the puzzle has been solved, have been resolved into numbers, and from their they have been extrapolated into grid reference coordinates that span the globe.
Noteworthy points located by the coordinates are: Easter Island, Ayer's rock, Tibet. Each have significant religious connotations.
A pentagram? A pointer to our destination? A warning? A mark on the face of Gaia, only visible in the cold, dark of the endless void?

5. Numbers feature prominently.

The number 8 is hinted towards. The number 2012 is clearly marked on “The Letter”.
In the image of Shanghai, seen on the front page of the site for visitors in the East, one building has had its billboard replaced with the numbers 2112.

6. We have “A Friend”

A Friend points the way, he has other Friends. His messages hint at deeper meanings, and offer even more numbers.
The signature included in our Friend's posts include the number 20121221.
This adds to a numerology theory and repetition of the numbers 1 and 2.

7. The cities destroyed.

Upon solving the puzzle found at www.darkdaysarecoming.com each city can be seen, briefly, in ruins. London appears burned, Shanghai seems assailed by great tornadoes, New York is overgrown with monstrous vegetation.
What causes this?

8. Figuring out Cry Gaia.
Twee has begun a blog, gathering together as much information, including theories, about Cry Gaia.

a while after takeoff a coal boat picked up a feighnt distress signal wich was belived to have come from the Latham.
It is belived that the plane was forced down due to bad weather and crash landed somewhere near "Bjørnøya"

sometime later parts from the plane drifted into the shoreline, gastanks and pipes ets. wich were confirmed had come from the Latham.

The gas tank showed evidence of someone trying to repair it wich lead people to belive someone may have survived the crash

Nobody realy knows what happened to this day.

in memory of Amundsen 14. december "South pole day" would become a memorial day for Roald Amundsen.

the only anwser ive come up with comes from a memorial speech in honour of Amundsen it goes as follows:

In the letter it's asked who the 8 are. Since it should be known who were on Amundsen's team, why ask who the 8 are if it's them? Personally I'm leaning towards "coincidence" in this case.

Actually the letter asks "who are the Eights" - capital E (well, H, it was french).

This leads me to believe this is either a proper noun for a single group or for several groups (in which case it would probably be several groups each consisting of 8 members). We really don't know though, but it is probably significant that the 'Huits' was plural and capitalized.
