The last viral marketing to show up on this site turned out to be one of our own trying to kill time. But what the hell--let's get started, people.

This is Apis. That writing looks like Hebrew; can anyone translate it?

More symbols flash on the screen at 0:15, 0:21, 0:28, 0:39 and 0:55. They're too fleeting to get a good look at them, but I'm pretty sure they're not all the same. In order to figure them out, someone will need to go through this video frame-by-frame, and its player won't let me do that myself.

That was a incredibly creepy video. I'm due in at work in 10 mins but as soon as I get home I'll start trying to put the pieces together.

By the way, I'm not sure how the subways look in London/shanghai, but that totally looked like the NY subway system.

Edit: Just did a quick search behind the symbolic meaning of squares and this what I got.

I have no idea if this is real or not, but it seems a bit over elaborate just to be a hoax.

Here at least is what is contained in the video:

I used clipnabber to get it off the web. I had to convert the video to get it into premiere though.

Mormaeg got the video down, I tried to equalize the soundtrack to find some clues as to what language is being spoken, but no luck. At least there is a subway-sound-and people talking at a moving train or subway.
No backwards-soundclues as I can tell at this moment, but I`ll have a closer look at the audiotrack when I am in the studio.

Also still no luck as to identify the language(alphabet) some of the symbols, as said before in the thread, seems to be hebrew, but I believe it to be more than one alphabet involved. Also tried it upside down, as english, but no luck.

Tried mirroring, flipping and inverting of image, still no luck.

There is a Freebee program available that allows one to save youtubes, not sure if it would work on this video site.

And to the O.P. very good job on the Vid. I rate it a solid 8, However your introduction was clumsy and rushed.

You better serve your players (and you will get much more of a following) if you introduce more mystery and obscurity in your trailhead Intro (not the vid itself but linking the vid)

Learn to hide it in plain sight.
