Ta da, new website: www.kingsmouth.com
Caelin found this and posted it in the New Dark Places Tweets threads. The url is a combination of words from the King James Bible version of Daniel 4:31. Quote:
Which is very similar to Lovecraft's Innsmouth. Well done Caelin, and also everyone else who contributed to solving the puzzle. ![]()

The first disappointment of the year I would say. Some horrible looking screenshots and fiction.

And here I am wondering what all the Edgar Allan Poe poems had to do with it all.

Just from skiming the website, Kingsmouth and Solomon Island seem to have a lot in common with Svalbard.

I am laughing so hard at: "Solomon Island is home to Innsmouth Academy, an exclusive private school for students with very special and unique talents!"

There's also a mine there. A perfect entrance to the underworld
![]() [edit] So does this mean that most of the screenshots that we've seen so far are from Kingsmouth?

Yeah, looks like it, Leck. Does this mean they haven't done much for other areas? Probably keeping it secret, and releasing info on one area at a time. And the screenshots look pretty good, too. I think some have a grainy look just for effect. Number 4 is very nice.

Hmm... A while ago I said New England was probably the first area we would learn more about. W00t! I guessed right!
I am pondering also if Solomon's Island is a reference to Solomon Kane. We have a Lovecraft reference why not a Howard reference.

Love the new website and I'm still skimming through it (the adverts at the side are a nice touch, lead you into the light indeed) but I really appreciate that it's not all flash and shiny but quite amateurish, as if designed by locals. Nice touch.
